Bob Hall is a true Constitutional Conservative with Judeo-Christian values who became active in the Tea Party movement in 2008.
He is a semi-retired business man. He and his wife Kay, a native Texan, live at Tailwind Airpark in Edgewood, Texas and are members of Lakeside Baptist Church in Canton, Texas.
He graduated from The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina with a degree in Electrical Engineering and received a Regular Commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Air Force. While a cadet at the Citadel he received numerous rewards for leadership. His senior year he was the only Air Force Cadet selected to be a Battalion Commander and at graduation was awarded the coveted Wade Hampton saber as the graduating cadet who had contributed the most to the Citadel during the four years he was a cadet. He was Captain of the school’s Sky Diving Team was listed in “Who’s Who In American Colleges” his Senior year.
Immediately after graduating from the Citadel, Bob went on active duty with the US Air Force. He was assigned to Norton AFB in California where he served as a Systems Engineer working to develop the Minuteman Missile System during the Cold War. He achieved the rank of Captain and later received an honorable discharge.
After leaving the Air Force he worked in the aerospace industry as a systems engineer and business development manager. In 1982 he left the corporate world and began working as an independent proposal consultant to aerospace and defense corporations. Then in 1984 he formed his own company, Professional Proposal Management, Inc., which remained a family owned small business. In 2008 he and his wife Kay, who was born in Commerce, Texas began building a retirement home at Tailwind Airpark right here in Van Zandt County.

Bob is not a professional politician. While he has voluntarily served his country in the military, he has never held a public office. However, Bob has been very active with the Tea Party movement. He helped form the Canton Area Tea Party and is a charter member of the East Texas Constitutional Alliance. Since becoming active with the Tea Party movement he has given talks throughout North Texas on what We-The-People can and must do to return America and Texas to the Conservative and Judeo-Christian values on which it was founded.
