John Benedetto

 

John has been a resident of Rockwall, Texas for twenty-nine years. He and his wife of 37 years, Pam, moved to Rockwall in 1983. They have two sons Jason, 33 and Matt, 32 and are graduates of the Rockwall School System. John was a custom home builder from 1983 – 1993. He built homes in several subdivisions including The Shores, Stonebridge, Lakeshore, and Buffalo Creek. He has twenty-nine years experience as a business owner in Rockwall. During those twenty-nine years he was also involved in projects and organizations working to better Rockwall and its citizens. His construction knowledge led him to construct homes with Habitat for Humanity. He is a Member of the Rockwall County Republican Men’s Club, Royse City Chamber Events, Royse City Early Bird Rotary, and has been active in projects that each organization has sponsored for the betterment of Rockwall County. He served on the Board of Directors (1987-89) for the Rockwall First United Methodist Church, McClendon Chisholm Planning and Zoning, and president for four consecutive years of the Rockwall High School Band Boosters. John attended the Police Academy and graduated with honors with practical performance in the following areas of law enforcement.

John has a history of police officers and law enforcement officers in his family. His father was a reserve Dallas Police Officer, two uncles that served as Dallas Deputy Constables in the 60′s & 70′s, and his oldest son Jason is a detective for the City of Hutchins Police Department.
