Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Abilene Christian
University.
I moved to Rockwall in March of 1978 and started my employment with the Rockwall Police Department. While at the Rockwall Police Department, I was the Rotary Officer of the year in 1987-88. In 1990 I was the Public Safety Co-Employee of the Year and also received the Officer’s Choice Award. In 1997 I was awarded the Rockwall Police Department Merit Award. I retired in October 2004 as a Patrol Sergeant. Since my retirement in 2004 I have worked in the security business at a local jewelry store.
My wife has been a local realtor for 20 years. I have two daughters that are completing their degrees in Teaching and Graphic Design. I have a son that is with the Rockwall Fire Dept as a volunteer. He is also a Fireman/Paramedic with McKinney Fire Department. My family and I have been members of First Baptist Church Rockwall since 1980.
The duties of the Constable are to serve both Civil and Justice of the Peace court papers. These may include writs, warrants and subpoenas thru the Justice of the Peace Precinct #3. The Constable can also enforce local, State and Federal laws. The Constable is available as a Bailiff for the Justice of the Peace Court.
